How it works

Five steps from first call to passport

The order matters — each stage depends on the one before it.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

We map your goals, family profile, and timeline, and rule out programs that won't fit before you spend anything.

  2. 02

    Program match & documents

You choose a route while we prepare the application file and help you gather certified documents.

  3. 03

    Due diligence & interview

The government's own background checks run in parallel with any required virtual interview.

  4. 04

    Approval & investment

Once approved in principle, the donation or real estate investment is finalized.

  5. 05

    Oath & passport

A notarized oath of allegiance clears the way for the certificate and passport to be issued.

Eligibility and due diligence

Review identity, source-of-funds, family, and compliance requirements before choosing a route.

Local partner coordination

MexoPath coordinates with independent local professionals where required. These relationships do not imply government affiliation, influence, or preferential treatment.

Passport planning

Understand processing stages, family-inclusion rules, and the obligations that come with a second passport.

Before you commit

Common questions

General answers to get you oriented — not a substitute for a conversation about your specific situation.

Do I have to give up my current citizenship?

Confirm current nationality and adult-dependant restrictions, passport verification and issuance requirements directly before filing. Do not assume a fully remote process or a fixed completion time.

Do I need to travel to apply?

Most applications are handled remotely through an authorized local partner. Some programs require a virtual interview for the main applicant and any dependents aged 16 and over.

Which family members can I include?

Typically a spouse and dependent children. Several programs also allow parents, grandparents, or siblings, under age and dependency rules that vary by country.

How long does approval actually take?

Appointment availability, prior authorisations, document checks and authority workload determine timing. Ask the responsible authority for its current estimate; no completion date is guaranteed.

How confidential is the process?

Case information is shared only for the agreed service and lawful checks, subject to the Privacy Policy. Authorities and independent providers apply their own lawful procedures; confidentiality is not a promise that information is never disclosed.
