Terms and Conditions

Last updated:

These terms explain the scope of MexoPath's consultancy services and website use. Read them together with our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Service Disclaimer. Mandatory legal rights always prevail.

1. Independent consultancy

MexoPath Immigration provides private immigration consultation and administrative assistance. We are not a government agency, embassy, consulate, educational institution, or visa-issuing authority and do not act on their behalf. A destination listed on this website does not establish a local office or professional licence. Regulated legal advice, representation, or filings must be handled by an appropriately authorised professional where required.

2. Agreeing the service

Services may include consultation, eligibility review, document preparation, application-submission assistance where permitted and authorised, case monitoring, and related coordination. Before paid work begins, the written engagement must identify the contracting provider, scope, deliverables, exclusions, fees, expenses, and payment and cancellation terms. A website visit, tool result, enquiry, or consultation request alone does not engage us or authorise a submission. Client approval and any legally required authority to act must be obtained before filing.

3. No approval or outcome guarantee

We promise professional assistance within the agreed scope, never a visa, residency, citizenship, admission, appointment, processing deadline, or other immigration outcome. All final decisions rest solely with the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority, educational institution, or government agency of the destination country. Paying our fees, receiving a favourable preliminary assessment, or seeing another client's experience does not guarantee your result.

4. Client responsibilities

You must provide complete, accurate, current, and authentic information and documents, disclose relevant immigration history, review application details before approval, and respond to requests and deadlines promptly. Tell us about changes affecting your case and obtain permission before providing another person's data. Never submit forged or misleading material. We may pause or decline unlawful instructions and explain any resulting service or cost implications, subject to applicable law and earned-fee accounting.

5. Service fees and other costs

Our professional service fees are separate from government, consular, institution, translation, legalisation, medical, courier, investment, and other third-party charges unless a written quote expressly includes them. A quote must explain currency, taxes, payment stages, included work, and authorised expenses. Additional work or expenses require agreement. Fees pay for agreed services, not a favourable decision. Refunds and cancellation remain subject to the separate policy and mandatory consumer rights.

6. Estimates and changing requirements

Website requirements, eligibility criteria, fees, exchange rates, travel access, and processing times are general information or estimates and can change without notice from an authority. Appointments, interviews, checks, and additional-document requests are outside our control. Verify current official rules before making commitments. We will communicate material changes affecting agreed work when they come to our attention; an estimate is not a deadline or guarantee.

7. Independent authorities and providers

Authorities, institutions, authorised local professionals, and other third parties make their own decisions and apply their own terms. A referral does not imply government affiliation or special access. We do not control their availability, fees, processing, or decisions. Responsibility for an error in our own agreed work remains governed by law; referring or subcontracting work does not remove responsibilities that the law places on us.

8. Responsibility and legal protections

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for delays, refusals, requests for further documents, policy changes, or independent third-party decisions that we did not cause or control. This does not excuse a breach of our own agreed obligations, negligence, fraud, deliberate misconduct, mishandling of personal data, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We must exercise the care required by applicable law. No clause removes mandatory consumer rights, statutory remedies, or compensation rights.

9. Website use and information

Use the website lawfully and do not impersonate others, submit false information, or misuse its tools. General content and automated outputs are informational and may contain errors or become outdated; they do not replace individual advice or official rules. Content and third-party names or images do not establish endorsement. Do not reproduce protected materials without permission or a lawful exception. External websites have separate terms and privacy practices.

10. Complaints, applicable law, and updates

Send service concerns to info@mexopath.com with your case reference and the remedy requested; do not include sensitive documents in the initial message. We will review the work and respond in accordance with applicable law. You retain access to competent courts, consumer bodies, and data-protection authorities without being required to contact us first. Mexican law applies to the extent permitted, without displacing mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights applicable to you elsewhere. Policy updates are dated here and do not retroactively change an agreed engagement without a lawful basis and any necessary agreement. No translation-precedence clause overrides mandatory language rights.

11. Interpretation and definitions

Capitalised terms have the same meaning in the singular and plural. Company, We, Us and Our mean MexoPath Immigration, at the contact address below; Country means Mexico. Website means https://mexopath.com/ and Device means a computer, phone, tablet or other access device. You means the visitor or the entity they lawfully represent. Affiliate means an entity controlling, controlled by or under common control with a party, with control meaning ownership of 50% or more of voting interests. Third-party Social Media Service means external content, data, goods or services displayed through the Website. In the website-use provisions, Service means the Website; paid consultancy services require the separate engagement described above. These Terms form the agreement for website use without replacing a written service engagement or mandatory legal rights.

12. Acknowledgment and age requirement

The website-use terms apply to all visitors and users. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to the applicable website-use terms; if you disagree, stop using it. Users must be over 18; a parent or lawful representative must arrange any service concerning a minor. Read the Privacy Policy to understand data use and your rights. Website use or acknowledgement of these policies does not replace a legally required consent, enter a paid engagement, or authorise an application submission.

14. Termination or suspension of website access

We may suspend or end website access for a breach of these Terms, unlawful use, security concerns or another lawful reason, immediately where necessary and otherwise with notice where required. The right to use the affected website features ends when access is terminated. This does not cancel an existing paid engagement without following its lawful terms, remove accrued rights, excuse our obligations, or prevent access to cancellation, complaint or privacy-request channels.

15. Limits relating to website use

Only where lawful, liability arising solely from website use is limited to the amount paid for that website use, or USD 100 if nothing was paid. To the extent lawfully excludable, indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, data or business interruption, are excluded for website use. These limits do not apply to agreed consultancy work, negligence, fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury, unlawful processing or loss of privacy, or any liability or remedy that cannot legally be limited. If a jurisdiction prohibits a limitation or exclusion, the applicable legal protection prevails. The responsibility safeguards in section 8 apply throughout.

16. “As is” and “as available” website disclaimer

Subject to mandatory rights, the general Website and its informational content are provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or software, error-free content, absence of harmful components, or any particular result from website use. Warranties concerning quality, suitability, title or non-infringement are excluded only where lawful. These qualifications do not excuse our security duties, the care legally required of us, or delivery of agreed paid services. Any warranty or consumer protection that cannot be excluded remains effective.

17. EU consumer rights and legal compliance

EU consumers retain the mandatory protections of the law applicable in their country of residence. Where United States sanctions or trade restrictions legally apply to a transaction, you must not instruct us to act in breach of an applicable embargo or prohibited-party restriction and must disclose any relevant restriction affecting the service. Other applicable local, national and international rules also remain relevant. We may decline legally prohibited work; this provision does not create a blanket exclusion based only on nationality or override mandatory consumer protections.

18. Severability and waiver

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or interpreted only as lawfully permitted, and the remaining provisions continue to apply. A court or authority's power to protect consumers is not restricted. A failure or delay in exercising a right does not waive that right, and a waiver of one breach does not waive a later breach.

19. Translation interpretation

These Terms are available in multiple languages. Where lawful, the English text is the interpretation reference if translations differ. This does not override mandatory language rights, information requirements, consumer protections or the language agreed for an individual engagement. Contact us if a translation is unclear before instructing or paying us.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update website-use terms and publish the revised version with its date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to give at least 30 days' advance notice and any longer or additional notice required by law. Continued website use after a lawfully notified update indicates acceptance of the revised website-use terms where legally effective; otherwise stop using the Website. An update does not retroactively alter an agreed paid service, waive accrued rights or replace any legally required consent or agreement.
