Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated:

This policy concerns MexoPath service fees. It does not promise immigration approval or override mandatory withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights.

1. How to cancel or request a refund

Email info@mexopath.com with your name, case or invoice reference, the service to cancel, and your request. A reason may help us address a concern, but is not required when exercising a statutory withdrawal right. Do not send passport copies or full bank details in the initial email. Cancellation of our service does not itself withdraw an application already lodged with an authority; that requires a separate instruction and the authority's procedure.

2. Work completed and unused fees

Subject to mandatory rights, service fees for work not performed will be returned. Any deduction must reflect properly agreed work actually performed and lawful, reasonable, documented costs; it is not an automatic cancellation penalty. We will provide an itemised explanation of work, authorised expenses, and the refundable balance. A deposit is not automatically non-refundable merely because it is called a deposit. Service defects, overpayments, or non-performance are assessed separately under applicable legal remedies.

3. Government and third-party payments

Government, consular, institution, investment, medical, translation, courier, and other third-party payments follow that recipient's lawful refund rules. We cannot promise to recover money already properly paid to them. Only actual, authorised, non-recoverable costs may be deducted where lawful, with supporting information. Unused money held for expenses must be accounted for and returned. Our own service fees remain subject to this policy and applicable law.

4. Refusals, delays, and provider cancellation

An authority's refusal, delay, request for more documents, or policy change does not by itself mean properly delivered consultancy work is refundable. It also does not remove any refund or remedy owed for our own failure. If we cannot continue an engagement, we will notify you, explain the status, account for completed work and authorised costs, and return unused service fees subject to your legal rights. Rescheduling or additional work must be agreed, not imposed as an undisclosed charge.

5. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights

Cooling-off and refund rights depend on the applicable law and contract. Where Spanish or EU distance-service consumer rules apply, the usual withdrawal period is 14 calendar days from conclusion of the service contract, subject to statutory exceptions and any required extension. Beginning work during that period requires the legally required express request; any proportionate payment and loss of the right after full performance require the statutory conditions, information, and acknowledgement. A website enquiry or privacy checkbox is not that request or a waiver. Applicable Mexican revocation rights and all other mandatory rights also remain intact. Refunds must follow applicable statutory deadlines and payment-method rules; contact us for withdrawal instructions or a model form, without restricting your right to use any valid clear withdrawal statement.

6. Optional withdrawal template

You may copy this statement and email it to info@mexopath.com, addressed to MexoPath Immigration at the contact address below: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my service contract for [service], agreed on [date], reference [case or invoice]. Consumer name: [name]. Consumer address: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature is needed only for a paper notice. Do not include passport copies or full payment details. Using this template is optional; any valid clear withdrawal statement remains acceptable.
